Resol /reh-sohl/ · noun
- The vibrant light and warmth felt in a place due to the reverberation of the sun.
- The reflection and energy of the sun’s rays.
To us, the meaning goes much deeper. The resol of the sun fully embraces you. Its luminosity makes you feel as though you are stepping into a beautiful dream, while its warmth gently wakes you up and reminds you that you are alive.
Resol is joy. It is the radiant feeling of connection, and it is the exact energy we aim to share with our friends, family, and corporate community through every bite we bake.
Our Story
In every culture where community, family, and togetherness are valued, you will always find incredible food at the center.
“Food is our common ground, a universal experience.” — James Beard
Currently operating as an artisanal cottage food brand based out of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Resol specializes in premium, small-batch baked goods for local festivals, personal pickup, and custom B2B corporate gifting.
Because we believe that food should always build community, we practice strict sustainability: any food that is not purchased is never wasted. Instead, it is donated directly to give back to the local communities that have supported us.
Looking ahead, our vision is to bridge our operations between North Georgia and the Dominican Republic, expanding into a full-scale food service operation that brings people together across borders.
Meet the Founder & Baker
I’m Sheila Marie!
I am a proud Dominican-American, and food has been the heartbeat of my family for generations. Growing up surrounded by vibrant cultures, and chefs, my deep appreciation for cuisine started at a very young age.
Today, I aim to share my rich Dominican heritage, my lived experiences, and the “tropical soul” of the Caribbean through the premium treats I carefully craft. Resol is the culmination of a lifelong passion, allowing me to do what I love while giving back to the Georgia community I have called home for nearly fifteen years.
